Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to brilliquid.com, the corporate website of Brilliquid LLC. It covers the limited visitor data we receive when you browse this site, subscribe to our Readings, or contact us.

It does not cover the BRILL.health patient platform — the BRILL.health app, patient accounts, secure messaging, or any health data. Those activities are governed by a separate policy at policies.brill.health. If you reached this page from a BRILL.health flow, that platform policy is the operative document — please use it instead.

What we collect

We keep our data collection deliberately minimal.

  • Server logs. When your browser requests a page, our web server records standard log data — your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page, and a timestamp. This is ordinary web-server operation.
  • Newsletter email. If you subscribe to Readings, we collect the email address you enter. We use double opt-in: you'll receive a confirmation email, and you're only added to the list after you click the link in it. We record whether your address is pending or confirmed, and the date.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send — your email address and the contents of your message.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, health information, financial-account numbers, or other sensitive identifiers on this site. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and we use no third-party analytics or tracking pixels. It is a static website with no login and no visitor profiling.

The site does load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches a font, Google receives your IP address as part of that request. If you block third-party requests, the site still works with fallback fonts.

How we use what we collect

  • To send you what you asked for. If you subscribe, we email you new Readings and occasional related updates — nothing else.
  • To respond to you. If you contact us, we may reply using the address you provided.
  • To operate and protect the site. Server logs help us keep the site running, diagnose problems, and detect abuse.
  • To meet legal obligations. We may retain logs and records as long as the law requires.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use this site's data to build advertising profiles.

Unsubscribing

Every Readings email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and we honor one-click list-unsubscribe. You can also email us to be removed. When you unsubscribe, we stop sending and mark your address accordingly.

Who processes data on our behalf (sub-processors)

We rely on a small number of service providers to run this site:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — website hosting and server logs (United States).
  • Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) — delivery of confirmation and Readings emails.
  • Google Fonts (Google LLC) — web-font delivery (receives your IP when a font loads).
  • Microsoft 365 — receives email you send to us at our published address.

Each processes only the limited data described above, for the purpose described.

Securities and investment activities

Brilliquid LLC is not a registered broker-dealer or investment adviser. Securities and investment business is conducted through our partner Weild & Co. (Member FINRA / SIPC). Andrew MacInnes, founder of Brilliquid LLC, is registered with FINRA through Weild & Co. Inquiries about specific securities, offerings, or investments should be directed to Weild & Co. through their published channels and are supervised by their compliance program.

Healthcare platform — separate policy applies

Interactions with the BRILL.health patient platform are not governed by this Policy. They are governed by the BRILL.health Privacy Policy at policies.brill.health, which covers protected health information, sub-processor relationships, identity verification, consent, and the patient-curated record model.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or opt out of further contact. Email us at am@brilliquid.com; we aim to respond within 30 days.

Updates

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; material changes will be noted on the site.
